What is CONTACTOR

In electronic components, Contactor refers to a device that plays a role in electrically opening or closing a contact in an electric circuit. They are typically used to handle large currents and control power circuits. Contactors typically operate in an electromagnetic manner and are used in a variety of applications including electric motors, generators, and power systems.

Contactors are primarily used as switching devices and are typically capable of handling very large currents. The main components include the electrons, solenoids and contact points. Contactors control electrical contact by activating a solenoid to open or close a contact point when power is applied.

Contactors come in many types with different functions and features. These characteristics include current capacity, voltage, and more. In addition, contactors are available in various specifications and sizes depending on the rated current and voltage, operating method, and shielding ability.

In electronic components, Contactor means a device that controls electrical contact in an electric circuit. They are used to handle large currents and control power circuits, and are utilized in a variety of applications.
