What is DOUBLE


Double in electronic components is a term meaning double the size or quantity. This term is used in various fields.

Some examples include:

Double Layer Capacitor: Double Layer Capacitor is a capacitor (capacitor) for storing electrical energy, and has high energy density and fast charging and discharging speed.

These capacitors are used in power storage systems, hybrid vehicles, energy recovery systems, etc.

Double-sided PCB: A double-sided PCB is a printed circuit board (PCB) that has circuitry on both sides.

This can hold more circuitry and helps reduce the size of the PCB.

Double Data Rate Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory: DDR SDRAM is a technology developed to increase the speed of data transfer between CPU and memory.

DDR SDRAM uses the term Double Data Rate, which means data can be transferred twice during one clock cycle.

Double Precision: Double precision is a technique for increasing the precision of floating point numbers used in science and engineering.

This enables more accurate calculations, and is used in fields such as high-performance computing and graphics processing.
