What is EFFICIENCY


Efficiency of an electronic component means the ability to minimize electrical energy loss and convert input energy into desired output energy.

The higher the efficiency of electronic components, the lower the conversion loss between input energy and output energy, and the more efficient use of electrical energy becomes possible.

Efficiency of an electronic component is affected by various factors such as the design, material, and manufacturing process of the component.

For example, power electronic components such as power MOSFETs and IGBTs efficiently control voltage and current and enable efficient conversion of electrical energy.

Efficiency is also an important factor for electronic components such as light emitting diodes (LEDs) and solar cells.
