What is EQUALIZER

In electronic components, 'Equalizer' refers to a device or circuit that adjusts the frequency response of an audio or video signal. It is mainly used in audio systems or video systems, and is used to improve overall sound quality or picture quality by equalizing signals in different frequency bands.

An audio equalizer adjusts the frequency of sound by applying different gains (boosts or attenuates) to different frequency bands. They usually provide multiple adjustments covering frequency bands such as bass, midrange, and treble. This allows the user to enhance or attenuate desired acoustic characteristics.

Video Equalizer adjusts the video signal's characteristics such as brightness, contrast, color and gamma to optimize the picture quality of the screen. Through this, you can adjust the sharpness and brightness of the video, and show the details of the image more clearly.

These Equalizers are used to optimize the sound and visual experience to match the quality of the audio and video system and the individual taste of the user. For example, it can be used to accentuate the bass and midrange for certain music genres, or to enhance certain colors when watching a video movie.
