What is FIXED

FIXED is one of the terms used a lot in electronic components. This term usually refers to the fixed resistance of electronic components.

Fixed resistors limit the flow of current in a circuit, divide voltages, and so on.

Fixed resistors usually have low sensitivity to static electricity and temperature changes, and can maintain accurate resistance values to ensure consistent performance.

In addition to fixed resistors, variable resistors and many other types of resistors are used in electronic components.

A variable resistor can adjust the resistance value in a circuit and is used in the form of a trim pot or variable resistor.

A variety of other resistors are used for voltage conversion, current measurement and correction, and filtering.
