What is LINEAR


LINEAR refers to a circuit that has a linear relationship between an input signal and an output signal as part of signal processing in electronic components.

A linear circuit is a circuit whose output signal varies in proportion to the magnitude of the input signal.

That is, there is a linear correlation between the input signal and the output signal. These linear circuits have a variety of uses in electronic components.

For example, in audio amplifiers, linear amplifiers are used to amplify the input signal (such as music).

Since the output signal of a linear circuit can be accurately amplified in proportion to the input signal, it is widely used in electronic components that require high accuracy.

Linear circuits are mainly used in amplifiers, filters, generators, etc.

Also, in electronic components, the term linear is sometimes used with different meanings.

For example, a linear regulator is a circuit that maintains a constant output voltage for changes in input voltage.

In these circuits, the relationship between input voltage and output voltage is linear.
