What is SINK


Sink is generally made of metal, and heat is transferred by being connected to the heating part of electronic parts.

The size and structure of the sink must be designed to fit the calorific value and size of the part, and the heat transfer efficiency increases when the contact area between the part and the sink is large.

There are various types of sinks, and metals such as aluminum, copper, and bronze are generally used for efficient heat dissipation.

The structure of the sink differs depending on the design and performance requirements of the part, and the shape, height, width, and thickness of the sink must be considered along with the connection method with the part.

Therefore, the sink plays an important role in the thermal management of electronic components, and the selection and design of an appropriate sink is one of the factors that can determine the performance and lifespan of a component.
