What is SMALL


Small is used in many ways in electronic components.

In general, small refers to a small size or capacity of a part.

For example, small resistor can refer to a resistor with a small resistance value or small size.

Similarly, small capacitor can refer to a small sized capacitor, and small signal transistor can refer to a small sized transistor that amplifies electronic signals.

Small can also be used to characterize electronic components.

For example, small signal refers to small-magnitude electronic signals, and small-signal analysis refers to analysis of small-magnitude electronic signals.

Finally, small is one of the important concepts in electronic component design.

Smaller components can reduce the overall size of a circuit and can increase efficiency by reducing power consumption.

As a result, electronic component designers are designing more efficient circuits using smaller components.
