What is SOLDER

Solder is one of the materials frequently used in electronic components.

Solder is a metal alloy, mainly composed of tin and lead.

In some cases, or depending on the specific application, other metals such as arsenic, silver, copper or zinc may be added.

In electronic components, solder is used to attach electronic components to printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Solder also provides electrical connection and electrical isolation.

Solder is melted to the junction of electronic parts on the PCB and connects the electronic parts and the PCB.

This is usually done using reflow soldering techniques.

Solder plays a very important role in electronic components.

If solder of the correct quantity and quality is not used, electrical contacts between electronic parts may not be formed reliably, which affects the reliability of electronic products.

Therefore, solder is a very important material in the manufacturing process of electronic parts.
